Dementia Defined
Deterioration of mental ability, generally caused by organic brain disease, less often by psychological factors. Characterized by disorientation and loss of memory and intellect. Also called organic dementia.

It's been three years since Archie Scott went to pick up his 87-year-old aunt to take her to the Festival of the Little Hills in St. Charles. But instead of spending a joyful day on the riverfront, he found her dead. She was in her undergarments and socks, submerged in cold water in her bathtub. It appeared as though she was preparing for a bath.
